Our Planning Fees
The way travel advisors are compensated varies. Some suppliers pay and agency commission to promote their products, but many do not. Some vacations are very simple, while others are complex and require hours of research and planning. That's why we have created a tier-based fee structure, combining a la carte fees for individual services with package fees for complex custom trips. Of course, many of our services are complimentary, and we gladly pass on agency-exclusive discounts and extra amenities when they are available. These benefits almost always exceed the cost of our fee.
Our Menu of Services
- Initial Consultation - Discovery Call. Let's get to know each other and brainstorm ideas.
- Disney Destinations, Universal, and other standard theme park vacation planning, including research, booking, and managing your transportation, hotel, and ticket package. Additional VIP services, see below.
- Standard cruise bookings (cruises originating in the USA).
- Escorted guided tours booked through one of our preferred tour operators.
- Hotel bookings using our preferred partner hotels
- $99 - VIP Disney and theme park planning services, including additional services beyond the package reservations such as daily itinerary planning, making dining reservations, and planning other optional services, activities and tours.
- $125 - Resorts and all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean (excluding destination weddings and events). Fee includes up to 3 quoted resorts.
- $350 per stateroom - Premium cruise planning (exotic cruises, foreign river cruises, world cruises, and cruises originating outside of the US). $150 will be credited back to you in the form of an onboard credit prior to embarkation.
- $350 - Custom individual itineraries up to 10 nights, for as many as 6 guests on the same reservation number. $25 per night, each additional night. $150 of this fee will be credited back to you in the form of an onboard credit prior to embarkation.
- Custom group itineraries, destination weddings and event planning quoted upon request.
- $25 per ticket - Domestic air ticketing fee (when flight is not part of a vacation package)
- $50 per ticket - International air ticketing fee (when flight is not part of a vacation package)
- $25 per room - Hotel only (when the hotel is not part of a vacation package) This fee is waived if you choose one of our preferred partner hotels
- $125 per itinerary - Purchase a ready-made itinerary from our library. You book and manage the details.
- $350 one time research fee + 7% of the cost - Vacation rentals. Due to increased risk and liability, we only provide vacation rentals that meet our strict standards and where the properties have been inspected and owners vetted. For this reason we do not support Airbnb properties. If your rental is booked through one of our preferred rental management companies, we will waive the 7% surcharge.
- $200 - Expedite fee for last-minute bookings within 30-days of travel, or within 60 days of a major holiday.
- $125 per hour - Change fee for changes made after final payment. This is in addition to any penalties and fees imposed by the supplier.
- $125 per hour - After hour service (except for during travel emergencies). This includes research, making new bookings and elective changes to existing bookings when you request that they be made outside of normal business hours or on weekends and holidays.
- $50 per person - mandatory cancellation fee when any member of your party, or the entire travel party, cancels the vacation after a deposit has been made. We will waive this fee if you have changed the dates of your trip or have purchased travel insurance.
Changes & Cancellations
We understand that modifications need to be made throughout the planning process, however if the modifications become excessive or require us to begin a new itinerary for an alternate destination, you may incur additional fees.
When things don't go as planed, we've got you covered!
Our planning fees are billed to you in advance of any research and planning and are nonrefundable. As independent contractors, we invest a great deal of time planning the perfect vacation for you and our fee is the only form of compensation should you decide to cancel. Sometimes things happen beyond your control that cause you to cancel or change your plans. If this happens we will gladly issue you a credit voucher for the cost of the planning fees so that you can reuse them to plan a future vacation with us.
